Let the body speak first

Real movement with awareness

Before you think it through — feel it.
Sometimes, body sensations are your truest form of wisdom.

Your body doesn’t get caught in rationalizations or memory tricks. It doesn’t play mind games. It simply whispers the truth — if you’re willing to listen. Often, your body is the most direct route to where you need to go. That’s why somatic clues are such trustworthy guides, especially when a decision is near.

My 5-minute ritual

Each morning, I take a short walk
or spend a few quiet minutes stretching—
just enough to notice:
• what feels tender
• what feels tight
• where it hurts, even a little.

Then I ask, gently:
What would help me begin the day with more ease?

My body leads.
My mind follows.

Tiny tip of the week

Before making a big decision, pause for a simple body scan.

If you notice tension:

  • Get curious.
Ask gently: What might this be about? or What is this part trying to protect me from?
  • Breathe into it.
Try a few slow breaths directed toward that area, or gently stretch if that feels supportive.
  • Adjust your pace.
Sometimes tension just means your body needs more time, clarity, or safety before moving forward.

Connection prompt

Where in your body do you feel movement calling?
Is it drawing you in — or dragging you along?
